The 20th Biennial Southern Silviculture Research Conference (BSSRC) will take place on March 12-14, 2019 at Sam’s Town Hotel and Casino in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Special lodging rates at the conference hotel have been established for BSSRC participants starting on March 11 through March 15, 2019. The conference lodging rate is $85.00/per night plus tax, single or double occupancy.

  There will be an additional charge of $15 per person for more than two guest per room and a maximum of four guests per room.  The block rate for rooms ends February 25, 2019 Block rates have been extended to March 5.

All rooms at Sam’s Town are well appointed rooms with king or double beds, small setting/office area, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, and refrigerator.  Parking is free
